Each year we partner with a school in downtown Newark to bring some holiday cheer to our young friends.
Each child is asked to put three wishes on an ornament and we ask our congregants to sponsor a child (or more) and at a minimum grant one of the wishes as well as give them at least one of the books on the list provided.
Mantel of Giving connects UUCM with the inner city life of kids who might not otherwise have a holiday season and we’re grateful once again for any help you can provide.
Our next Mantel of Giving will begin in November 2021.
